Course Narrative
This was the beginning Japanese course for students with no prior Japanese. While I did have some prior knowledge of Japanese from my years in highschool, I felt as though this and 102 would do me good in terms of refreshing my memory, as it had been years between high school and transferring from community college to CSUMB. Here I re-learned basic interpersonal and interpretive Japanese to communicate and present on familiar topics. Other studies included reading and writing systems including hiragana, katakana and basic kanji.
